We are currently accepting applications year-round for our pre-apprentice and apprenticeship programs and are actively looking for motivated veterans interested in learning one of our skilled trowel trades. No experience is necessary - just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. BAC Local 9 offers a true earn-while-you-learn career path with average starting pay ranging from $23–$29 per hour, with higher starting wages possible based on experience. Apprentices receive regular pay increases every six months throughout the program along with union wages, benefits, retirement, and long-term career advancement opportunities. Veterans using the GI Bill may also qualify to receive E-5 with dependents BAH in addition to their hourly wages while enrolled in the apprenticeship program. Opportunities are available in the following trades: Bricklayer, Tile Layer, Tile Finisher, Stone Mason, Pointer-Caulker-Cleaner (Restoration), and Terrazzo Worker.
