Local 42 of The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry is located in Norwalk, Ohio. We provide plumbing, pipefitting, and HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) service for the needs of homeowners, business, industry, and government installations throughout the 9 counties in NorthCentral Ohio. Along with our signatory contractors, we service the counties of Lorain, Erie, Huron, Richland, Ashland, Morrow, Knox, Crawford, and Wyandot.
Our apprenticeship program is registered with the United States Department of Labor and The State of Ohio.
The 450+ men and women of Local 42 are your neighbors. We live near you; attend church with you, and our children attend school together.

Requirements
Each applicant must furnish the following at the time of application:
High School or GED grades transcripts
Valid birth certificate
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at leats 18 years of age
Must live within Local 42 work jurisdiction (Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Knox, Lorain, Morrow, Richland, and Wyandot counties)
Must be willing to submit to a background check
Application fee is $35.00
