Sheet Metal Apprenticeship
This is a paid apprenticeship program. With scheduled raises, eligible for GI Bill payments, college credits including an A.S. Degree, and no student loans. Healthcare and retirement are part additional to the high pay package. Direct Entry opportunity for Veterans.
Apprentices will start at 41% rate, currently over $34 per hour. Currently the Journeyperson rate is over $78 per hour g.t. plus great benefits, including healthcare that covers the member and all dependents at no additional cost, and three retirment plans. Apprentices are eligible for advancements every 6 months of app. Our apprenticeship program is eligible for you to receive your GI Bill benfits. You will receive college credits for the apprenticeship classes. There is an optional A.S. degree associated with our apprenticeship training. We have Direct Entry Opportunites for Veterans. This position includes healthcare for members and all dependents at no additional cost. Retirement packages are included in the compensation of employement. Our facility is proud to have 4 registered SCOs for processing GI Bills and Vocational Rehabilitations forms.
Requirements
Basic math ability is helpful. Use of hand tools and power tools will be trained.
